Tie the Loose Ends...

We are both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously! My home and MySELF are my current projects, consolidating and energizing each activity and each corner, in alignment with my true self. Many lessons learn't, many desires fulfilled, developed an understanding of how I can work & how things work for me and just a few more loose ends ....to be fixed, I thought... Incidentally I was playing with a string of Sky Blue coloured luminous beads, to match my light blue new saree, trying to tie the loose ends! Aand this unusual picture in updates!!

శివార్చిత - Shivaarchita

I have a dozen doubts and arguments swaying my mind...but I surrender to the beauty of this word! It is so obvious to admire a picture of Goddess Parvati worshipping Lord Shiva but why was I resisting when the word SIVARCHITA was coming into my awareness. The word was associated with a sense of Lord Shiva worshipping his Consort with much love and devotion. Alas...relationship with the Divine is Reciprocal💞. Today's flower arrangement felt like a translation of the word Sivarchita ...

(image from Internet 👆) In fact, the word Sivarchita was coming into my Awareness since several days but I didn't listen to it until today ...although it was very convincing to my SELF, I was curious to see if there were any pictures of Shiva worshipping Parvati... and I found one picture with Comb!! Omg yesterday I was particularly talking about comb and was feeling connected to the toy like beautiful and bright Pink coloured plastic comb I received as part of some Puja ritual!

Listen - Rumi The soul has been given its own ears to hear things the mind does not understand. - Rumi Today, our family carpenter dropped in to repair our traditional Kattipeeta. we were also thinking of other things to be done, We were mounting the large Satyanarayanaswamy picture on the wall and alongside we both thought of mounting our ancestral Puja mandir too. On the big ancestral stool below the mounted Puja mandir with Lord Shiva seated in it, I placed the new abhishekam peetham and the urli receptacle to collect abhisheka jalam ...with much love and devotion... How Law of Attraction Works ...

I was very keen and excited about gifting my husband, for this year's birthday, something that he uses for Lord Shiva Abhishekam. I thought of it last year itself but totally forgot about it as we were busy with some other thing. I forgot, but universe didn't!! I remembered my intention to buy Abhishekam Peetham when I saw a beautiful antique one on Instagram. But I didn't have that much money or time. Moreover, he likes the shiny finish of regular market items. Somehow, I managed to go to the Begum Bazar and after much search, luckily I got the one I wanted to buy. In a way it was a conscious decision to go that extra mile and procure it. But what was interesting was the sighting of the thing on instagram when I totally forgot about it - Serendipity @ work! I was not totally happy because it was a compromise for me and I missed the one with antique charm. Deep down I had a knowing/feeling that someday I would have it... I was very happy that my husband seemed to have liked my gift!! But ...it needed another bowl to be placed near it to hold the water flowing out. None of the bowls fitted well. But with each trial I could finetune the requirements. I searched internet frantically....but gave up because I couldn't find the right size and shape. I cleared my mind and I was listening to some song or something....I was in a clear state! That was when I was intuitively led to a site and there I saw the urli bowl with handles...especially the number 2.5 inches!! Yes! That was the one! 2.5 inches number loomed large catching my attention....exact height I wanted! Antique...but light weight...both side handles....standard store with standard website ...discount ...no gst...no transport charges...🙂 AND It arrived just on time - His Telugu Calendar Birthday!!!

Dialogue with the Divine!

Today's sleep wake visions felt like that! Some Inner Guidance...I don't know as of now, as to how they would take shape in 3 D reality...but I would like to recollect those and put on record... At the moment I am able to recollect only a few .... Shilaa Chitra - Sketching/Painting of Statues, Stone Idols and even simple rocks. I was 'asking' if it should be something starting with Chitra...on the lines of other names I have given. But the answer felt like 'stick to Chitra as the beginning word'. Then the word 'Kudya Chitra' seeped in...softly after a very bright vision which felt like a sudden DAWN bringing the entire BIG WALL of our Apartment building into LIGHT...then the word Kudya Chitra felt so obvious reminding me of PadmaPani Ajanta painting and then Graffiti. May be these are suggestions for the upcoming drawing classes.

A little later I saw a Triangular Tamborine!! That was very interesting and I was so curious to see if a Triangular tamborine really exists. But No, Tamborine and Triangle are separate, but because of this, I could get to know about the musical instrument, the Triangle!! Now, as I am typing I get it! Drawing Subject for Next Class is Tamborine and for the Toddlers it is Triangle!! Drawing various musical instruments has been on my mind since a very very long time ...I was wanting to receive a name for that also, but by that time my Mind became active and was interfering with the inner guidance. However, there was another vision...a feeble one though. It was a Round Hoop hung with a small thread just like the way the Triangle musical instrument is hung. I rushed to check if it exists but ...I didn't find any suitable picture or art depicting it. I continued to sleep until I had two more visions...the Triangular Tamborine and then a Golden Pupa!

The tiny toy tamborine that I was looking at with much love yesterday, while rummaging for something got reflected. Painting on Wood - also comes to my mind seeing something before me... Yes! I am keen on having painted wooden parrot and/or some other design, perhaps Yali ...wall brackets...

Kaizen...

Continuous improvement! Normally I don't repeat any theme/topic when I paint, especially when I paint my visions, because I do them just for myself and they don't serve any official purpose. But yesterday's Kunda flower painting felt too loud. So, I felt like doing it again. This time it is not so loud but it is still not the one I sensed...

Celebration to Celebration, my way forward! My kind of worshipping is more about flower arrangements using my favorite artifacts. I am not comfortable with ritualistic things because of many Do s & Don't s. I take a Heartiistic approach to connect to my own higherself...

Today for example, I felt greatly connected to the Five kinds of Havan spoons and their names. I loved the artistic Havan spoon sticks with animal faces...may be I would buy one, atleast or perhaps draw them alll in an art gathering. This Mahasivaratri special is the new Abhishek stand. I liked the antique one I saw in an Instagram profile but didn't order because these days I am hesitant to buy from new sources. Once bitten, twice shy...😒 This one is a regular one from Begum Bazar.

Over to Story Writing ...

This Sunday, children gathered at Hamsageeti on their own and invited me. I took a few minutes to get ready...wore a new purple, bright yet very comfortable cotton saree which had a kind of mystic aura, and some purple necklace my mentor gave me decades back...finally I was comfortable wearing them and carried my favorite purple mug as the Subject for the day's discussion - getting the different shades of purple right, to capture the translucent look. Older children were helping the younger children draw the mug, some were sharing their crayons too...I sat down looking at the bonding that was evolving and cherishing those sweet moments... The next subject was ...any Leaf from the garden and that floats some discussion about plants and the children were discussing about their plans to take up some gardening work the following Sunday...art brings together people! This boy is very good at listening, understanding and carrying out any task given to him! I admire him and give him the next task... A mug, a leaf, butterfly and a house... totally unrelated things and I asked him to write a story around those! And he did!! He wrote it and read it aloud! He churned out a very nice story! Simple yet profound! The leaf and butterfly are friends but they never talked to the Mug. But one day it was raining heavily and then the mug offered shelter to both Leaf and Butterfly! So cute! And I silenced my mind which was drawing association between a Leaf and a butterfly/Caterpillar...🤣

Sleep-Wake state visions....

My much cherished experiences! The richness of colours, the feel... sometimes subtle, sometimes vague but sometimes very clear and healing!

a KUNDA flower (Kaagadaa Malle we call) was seen blossoming revealing beautiful bright pink petals first and then the pure white petals that the flower actually has... a simple flower but it was so enchanting...I tried not to compare the beauty of the flowers I sense during sleep wake state to the flowers in our common garden...I really like the Freedom with which I pick flowers from our own place ...my kind of morning exercise - stretching to reach for flowers on the top branches and picking the parijata flowers the ground, one by one!

Art with non-dominant hand, topic- Wings

The first thing that came to my mind was Winged bean and my experience of hugging a Sal tree and collecting the seeds from ground. The next thing that came to my mind was WINGED bean and I chose to draw it, because it serves a purpose - it creates awareness about it's existence and nutritional value.

I have not yet seen a real WWinged bean yet and perhaps that was the reason why I could give good shading but couldn't give the correct shape. That characteristic slight curvature I missed and looked more like Bitter gourd. Anyway..I included the name WINGED BEAN🙂

Gul Rogan!

"Gul roghan is a hair oil made by maceration of rose flowers with warm sesame seed oil" I read this 👆 line in a beautiful article on Panneer Rose and today I tried it! The warm feel, earthy smell was so nostalgic. It felt very healing. I felt as though Shani Trayodashi has been celebrated, in my own way...sighting a pair of Crows a little later felt symbolic too.

Chitranvita

My affinity towards visual art is rather intense and Divine that I see/sense some visuals during my sleep wake state which are calming & healing and sometimes carry a message, an answer or some guidance too! I have been documenting them on and off but have stopped doing so after I felt that they could be just unique to mySELF and may not serve much purpose beyond that. However, on my own timeline I celebrate these visions, visuals & random associations & vibrational match and today I name this feature CHITRANVITHA! (Anvita. Meaning :Who bridges the gap, Reasoned, Understood, The gracious one who is loved by all. )

"మీ ఆవకాయ్...మా ఐస్క్రీం..." అన్నట్టుంది వరస! "అమ్మా ఇవేంటి?!" వెంటనే గుర్తుపట్టినా, ఎప్పటిలాగే ఒకసారి చెక్ చేసి మరీ చెప్పాను. అలా చెప్పగలిగినందుకు ఎదో ఒకలాంటి అనందం! అవి చూసి సంభ్రమం పొందిన తన చైల్డ్ లైక్ మనసు చూసి మరింత అనందం!! అప్పుడెప్పుడో నేను చదువుకునే రోజుల్లో ఒక రైలు ప్రయాణంలో నా ముందు కూర్చున్న అమ్మాయి తో నా సంభాషణ గుర్తుకువచ్చింది. ఆ రోజు నా ముందు బెర్త్ లో కూర్చున్న అక్క చెల్లెళ్ళు నాకు ఇంకా బాగా గుర్తు. అందం, సంస్కారం, పెద్దింటి పిల్లలు అని వేరే చెప్పక్కరలేదు. పెద్దమ్మాయికి పెళ్ళై చిన్న పాప. చిన్నమ్మాయి అక్కకి సహాయంగా. పాపాయిని ఆడిస్తూ వెర్రిమొర్రి చేష్టలు చేస్తూ ఉన్న ఆ అద్భుతమైన ఆడపిల్లలు, పాపాయి పడుకోగానే మామూలుగా... కాదు, కాదు ఒకింత తాత్వికంగా కూడా కనిపించారు. నాకు ఆశ్చర్యం వేసింది. చొరవచేసి సూటిగా అడిగాను. "అందరూ పిల్లల్ని కంటారు. అందరూ ట్వింకిల్ ట్వింకిల్ రైంస్ చెప్తారు...మరి ఇందులో ఉన్న గొప్పతనం ఏమిటి" ఆ అమ్మాయి వెంటనే ముందుకి వంగి ఎంత బాగా చెప్పిందో...బాగా అని ఎందుకు అన్నానంటే ఇంకో మంచి పదం దొరకక... చెప్పిన జవాబు సరే, చెప్పిన పధ్ధతి. ఆ తీరులో ఆమె ఆత్మ సౌందర్యం, సంపూర్ణత్వం గోచరించింది. "నిజమే! అందరు పిల్లలూ అవే మాటలు, మళ్లీ వాళ్ళ పిల్లలు...కొత్త ఏమీ ఉందదు. కానీ తేడా అల్లా మన పిల్లలు చెప్పినప్పుడు ఆ అనుభూతి వేరే! గమ్మత్తంతా ఆ మన లో ఉంటుంది!!" ఇప్పుడు నేను చెప్పగలను - ఆ 'మన' అన్న అనుభూతి. మన అన్న మమకారం లో తగులుకోక మనకు దక్కిన, దేవుడు ప్రసాదించిన వరాలను దైవప్రసాదంగా భావిస్తూ, ఆస్వాదిస్తూ జీవితాన్ని పండించుకోవడంతో బాటు ఆ 'మన' అన్న నిర్వచనాన్ని సాధ్యమైన మేరకు, సాధ్యమైన దిశలో విస్తృతం చేసుకుంటూ...

My favourite shade of Rose, and I became that ...

"That which God said to the rose, and caused it to laugh in full-blown beauty. He said to my heart, and made it a hundred times more beautiful." - RUMI That is what exactly had happened when I sighted the Manoranjitham tree in full bloom while taking the marble steps/stairs to the Darshan of the Lord! aloukika, anirvachaneeya anubhuti! Just when I was reliving the experience, someone brought these Manoranjitam flowers... they appeared like some Fish art...chitranubhuti!

Bougainvillea…

“Maybe the journey isn't so much about becoming anything. Maybe it's about un-becoming everything that isn't really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.” Mind has hundreds of thoughts and desires, all good ones of course, wellbeing of alll my people and of course people at large, earning, saving, preparing for oldage ...but my soul whishpers... Deep down I was vibrating with Bougainvillea sarees and that essence seeped into today's Flower arrangement!

This season I am soo much in love with PhoolmatiJaipur ...I question myself if I really want those sarees or I am in love with their concept itself.

After an honest introspection I feel that I am in love with the Essence of the concept of Botanical art, their videos, copy writing and composition of their advertisements. Beautiful and elegant! I am a vibrational match to the essence of Phoolmati... I may or may not buy this Bougainvillea print because I had already aquired a couple of them. Well, that is my mind putting limitations but my soul rejoices in the beauty of Bouganvilleas and these even more beautiful visuals...

My passion for edible flowers runs so deep in my being that I today sensed a Blissful crispy chocolate Lilly flower in a beautiful shade of brown. It was made of chocolate material but it was lively, like a real flower. It was bursting with joy & vitality...I wake up with a sense of wonder and googled ...The Chocolate Lilly Flower really exists! I remembered my professors at INSDOC! Yes, I did justice to my Information Science course, may not be in terms of money and material gains but by expanding my consciousness and downloading the Information from the higher Information System - the Universe!!
