Destiny, Destination, Divinity!!!
Rathasaptami brings me several memories, dreams, disappointments, action plans and hopes. I allowed and processed everrything and closed my eyes shifting into gratitude for the present moment and that was when I had the profound experience of the cosmic connection to Sun. It was soo subtle and too brief to remember all the details. However, I made an attempt to recollect bit by bit and reconstruct what I saw. There were Transparent square/triangle plain glass tiles, a yantra like pattern coming to life and arranging itself as a 3 D structure that felt like a Homa kundam and Bon fire at the same time and then I saw a cosmic beam of white light falling onto the glass tiles yantra from the opening of what felt like a large cave...the overall feeling was soo magical, bringing in a pure cosmic connection and WONDER! Remember how we felt as children when we were playing with a Magnifying glass to make a fire?!!
Gratitude to Universe for this wonderful Divine celebration! Perhaps I should not cling anymore to my nostalgic memory of Rathasaptami celebration and payasam in Bean leaf. I have Evolved! I need to honor it and treasure it...

ChitraShaalaa - my art school, my heart-child, a conceptual beginning on Vasantha Panchami 2023!!!
Pictures SPEAK to me...verly loudly but very softly. Very clearly and tellingly. This is not the first time. It has been happening since about 10 years, but each time I experience that, I marvel. I marvel at the beauty of human existence itself and the great grand cosmos - a wonderful information system.
Sometimes we are not ready, but universe makes it happen! And it makes things happen most magically. Towards the end things unfold exactly the way we like ...what we first think as blocks or hiccups turn out to be the guardian angels that are actually creating a beautiful path for our journey!
This Vasantha Panchami turned out to be such UNIFYING experience that I experienced past, present and future in a single eventful day! Cumulative & Culminating! Reunion of Agrico friends during an important wedding in the morning, Art session with apartment kids in the afternoon, Wondrous play cum learnig time with granddaughter in the evening and Cradle ceremony of a dear daughter-friend at night.

Hibiscus Tea
The beautiful fresh Hibiscus in one of the pots in kitchen balcony prompted me to try Hibiscus tea. As a child I used to devour the flowers but now my conditioned mind cannot. Nevertheless, my whole being feeds on the essence of the Beauty of the Blossom - మందార కుసుమప్రియా...and I remember a few songs on Mandaram. Perhaps I would compile a list of my favorite Mandaram songs!
I somehow gulped the warm liquid but I understood that I need to read more about Hibuscus tea and tested recipes before I make my next cup of Hibiscus tea...

Insignificantly Significant - Turquoise crossandra
Turquoise crossandra, Green Ice Crossandra, Blue fox tail nail dye, Crossandra infundibuliformis shamrock Botanical Name : Ecbolium viride Family : Acanthaceae
Turquoise - My most favorite colour, besides light pink!
No wonder I very much love these flowers although they look pale and insignificant. My joy knew no bounds when I came to know about it's spiritual significance -

The best means to be above circumstances." - (https://auromaa.org/sri-aurobindo-ru/images/flowers/318.htm)
Now the edible aspect LOL Looks like it is a medicinal plant and not an edible plant as such.
Pentas (Pentas lanceolata) - Egyptian stars
In spite of those pleasing colours, I was never drawn to these star shaped miniature tubular flowers until I wanted to check the edibility aspect of flowers already growing at home. Yes! Pentas are very much edible and do have some medicinal properties too! I nibbled on a few flowers and they are not bitter, but of course not palatable because of perhaps cultural conditioning. The flowers tasted a bit sweet too because of that minute drop of nectar contained in those tiny flowers ...no wonder it attracts all beneficial insects!
In today's vision I sensed the word ROHIT followed by the sentence "రోహిత్ అంటే నమ్మకం"...my mind was focusing on the word హిత్ meaning wellwisher. I was too curious to know it's meaning and it was something to do with Early rays of Sun and Red colour, a reflection of my yesterday's post, I was particularly feeling connected with Red colour.
The next vision was a Chutney stand like thing carrying shade dried pentas blossoms...accompanied with a feeling of abundance of goodness! The chutney stand also felt like idli stand with a suggestion of using the pentas flowers to garnish idlis...how delightful it is to receive cooking suggestions from higher realms!!
Marigold Flowers are Edible?!
Alignment & Law of Attraction!
For some reason Marigold was on my mind. I saw some remedy or tip to improve relationships, something like offering a marigold flower with kumkum in Temple for some days. I dont remember exactly though. I felt deeply connected and I almost did it mentally, thought of asking my husband to bring Marigold flowers, but didn't ask because I connect deeply when I first read about it and actual daily ritual feels like a chore. I totally forgot about it until I sighted a beautiful Yellow marigold flower near the Puja room. It came along with chrysanthemum flowers my husband brings for Puja this season. I couldn't beleive my eyes for a moment and it felt like Universe has celebrated this year's VasanthaPanchami well in advance!
MY next immediate thought was about the edible aspect of Marigold flowers. I remember reading about it earlier but was curious to know again Now,

Return to Self - Edible landscaping, food for mind, body & soul
The first things that come to my mind when I say Edible flowers are the nostalgic and familiar Moringa flowers and the Nasturiums which only read about. Now while loooking at the edible aspect of the common Hibiscus flowers I happened to know that the common, familiar crossandra flowers too are edible...(although I need to look for more refereneces to it) and tried them immediately as I have fresh kanakambaram flowers growing in our common area...the gourd flower is anyway edible.
It dawned...Hibiscus rosa_sinensis is edible!!(?)
Today, early in the morning I was thinking about the particular puja plate at my Grandmother's place and how I was walking upto the beautiful big Mandaram (Hibiscus rosa_sinenssis) plant with bright red blossoms - half opened exposing the fresh stigmas and the brightly coloured pollen. I could tune back into the beautiful childhood experience. I could almost feel the rough concrete surface of the foot path upto the Tulasi koTa and the damp and slippery ground from there upto the plant. I felt myself standing near the branch at my hieght and look into the funnel like half opened bright red blossom...and sensed the delicate fragrance ...were those flowers more fragrant or was my sense of smell was sharper at that age...of course I never forgot playing with those flowers and decorating my forehead with the pistil ...but this time I suddenly remembered me munching on the crispy mustard seed like stamens ...I came to the present with a jolt and wondered if Hibiscus flowers are edible?!

Meraki - the Miracle word!
"Meraki is used by Greeks to describe scenarios when a person has really put a part of themselves into something. It could be cooking that comes from the heart, composing a piece of music that comes straight from the soul, or writing an article that expresses thoughts openly, honestly, and vulnerably." (definition from internet - https://www.parabol.co/blog/untranslatable-words-about-work/)
I have been saving these wooden strips since a very long time but I found their purpose just now. They were a chance find right when I was thinking of Blue colour window frames to decorate a corner in greek style. I found them in precisely such window form...but now I am going to use them as Wooden strips... I am fond of Wood! I wonder if there is any specific word for it...
In the meantime I found this ...A linguaphile is a person who loves language and words. Yes, I am that also!
